About Me.

Published by brian under Uncategorized

Hey everyone, my name is Brian. I’m a big sports kid. I’ve played baseball for 11 years, and basketball for the same amount of time. I love the Yankees, and I’m a die hard Giants Fan. I love the beach. I always go to Florida and I love spending the day at the beach relaxed, part of the time. The other time, I am surfing and skim boarding. Two of my most favorite things to do. It is a very lively activity and I enjoy it so much. School isn’t my favorite, but as my maturation continues, I realize more and more how important it is to be apart of the education system. It is our future education. The material we learn today is the material we use tomorrow. I am a very dedicated person to everything I do. Recently, in baseball, I set the record for home runs in a single season and I pitched 3 no-hitters. I am also a very sensitive person. On my outside, you couldn’t tell, but I care deeply about many matters that no one would of thought so. Such as our world. It seems as though, as our great hard-working scientists create new technology consistently, our education is held back. As our technology grows, we are still in our classroom using those boring textbooks. Why not take advantage of the fact of builiding of of students that are literally around the world, but right across from you on the computer screen. The world was made small for a reason. I reckon more people should do something about it, and keep up the pace of our intellect in this world. Another great concern I have is global warming. No one knows whether its a myth or not, but I believe i is definitely something to keep an eye out for. Who knows what the future brings us?

I love to have fun. With anything I do, I love to bring the best out of it. I truly feel the fact of how short our time is, and I have to make the best of my life and live it to the fullest. Emotions mean a lot to me. My feelings, other people’s feelings. Emotions are, to me, a big part of what make this world up. Another part of me is music. I love everything about music. Not modern music, I feel it doesn’t have the great meaning it use to. I love classic rock, and rock. My favorite bands are U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers. And an artist who has always inspired me is James Taylor. I get a lot out of music. I tell myself the meaning of the songs I love, and I try to interpret it the best I can. I play the Piano and I am currently learning the guitar. I love to be known as a multi-talented person. One thing I wanted to end on is how people take for granted what we have today. Everything my parents do for us, my teachers teach me, how the soldiers fight for or country, I appreciate it so much. Many people don’t have shelter to live under, a parents to care for them. So, I don’t go a day where I don’t stop and thank God for everything I have.

When I grow up, I hope to be a baseball player. It is my dream, and I am dedicated in pursuing it, and I will never give up.

Rays Fail to Clinch East

Published by brian under Uncategorized

To all the Yankee fans, everyone wants the Rays to clinch that 1 spot over the hated Red Sox. This afternoon, their first chance was not a go, as the Tigers come out with the win in the first game of the series. Tommorrow night, 9/26, oppurtunity is knocking again. A 7:05 ET game, Andy Sonnanstine vs. Justin Verlander. What a game it shall be. As a proud yankee fan, all I care about now is the first place seed to the Rays, not the Red Sox. Keep your ears open, history will happen! Go Rays!

First time in over a decade, the Rays are playoff bound. Reasoning? Their name and agression. If you haven’t noticed which everyone mostly has, the Rays have modified their name to simply the Tampa Bay Rays. They believed the Devil in the name was ruining their chances. And so far, their theory has been proven correct. Someone who wasn’t on their side before…is now…..

Last Game…1923-2008

Published by brian under Uncategorized

After all the years in Yankee Stadium… 26 world championships, unfortunate deaths, and emotional occurances; the stadium is being shut down. The ceremony was most exciting and the emotion in everyones hearts was dedication, to all the yankee teams for 87 years. The Yankee Stadium, ” The House that Ruth Built” will forever be in the air, even after being knocked down.

9.11.01

Published by brian under Uncategorized

Innocent days in the street on September 11, 2001. Early morning skies came on, and time passed slowly no one expecting what they were about to receive. Differences exist in the world, and with differences comes hatred. An emotion that should never be felt. But on this day, hatred came too far.

At 8:46am the first plane crashed into the twin towers. The early morning skies turned to dark and dreary cries, from every citizen with love for their country. The tragedy happened, there was no turning back. Silver tears appeared throughout the city of New York, minds traveled to other occurrances. As a kid, I had no idea the disturbance in the air. I was 6 years old and I was sent home from school after watching a breaking news report on our T.V. at school. I returned home to see my parents crying on the couch, watching Oprah share the terrible news. As the other two planes hit the Pentagon and a ground in Pennsylvania, the pain greatened. Till’ this day, I believe that Americans are fighting in this war because of this attack.

7 years later, the worst event in American History, and all the innocent lives lost, rests in peace among the sorry citizens. September 11, will never be forgotten. http://www.remember911.150m.com/aa11.htm
