Right now, I have been asked four questions that required much thought. These questions all contain courageous acts, or strong and bold answers. The questions are as follows; What have you stood up for in the past?; What do you want to stand up for in the future?; What is holding you back from something you believe in?; What would you be willing to risk your life for? Hard questions? I’d say so, but here are my answers…
What have you stood up for in the past? : I love my friends. I would never want any of them to get hurt. Back in July, we had a baseball game and the team decided to stay after for a while to watch the fireworks, for it was Independence day, the Fourth of July. I saw my friends hanging out by the upper softball field at the park we were at and I saw two older teenagers trash talking, as I could make out some of their words. I went over there and asked what was going on and the kids started looking at me but I wouldn’t back down. So I stood there and stared until they walked away. I didn’t want anything to happen to my friends.
What do you want to stand up for in the future? : Honestly, I am worried about the future besides the facts of global warming and war issues. Though, after a long thought about this question, I finally came to an answer. I won’t go around in life looking for something to stand up for, but I will stand up for something if it comes around to me. If something bad is happening, such as a fight, or a robbery and I happen to witness it, God put me in that position to do something. Not just watch. So to answer the question, I would stand up for anything wrong if I was put in the position.
What is holding you back from something that you believe in? : This is a good question, because I had to figure out everything I believe in. This was my conclusion: Something that I believe in is that somewhere in this big universe there is other worlds and planets just like ours and people are making new discoveries everyday just like ours. Obviously, what is holding me back is the fact that I’m not an explorer, or a scientist. Maybe one day though. I also wouldn’t risk my life to go searching for other worlds, and possibly come up empty. Which brings me to our next question.
What would you be willing to risk your life for? : This was a surprise to me. I had to take a lot of time to answer this. But, think about it. Would you actually die for someone? If they die it’s over they don’t feel anything, and maybe they were meant to die. But if you die, where is the good feeling? You can’t feel anything. But I figured you’ll have the feeling of a lifetime the split second before you’re gone. Therefore, I was brought to this answer. I would die for anyone I sincerely loved, and or thought needed to go on in life because of their great possibilities. Such as, my parents, family, friends. Then I though to myself, if those are the people I would risk my life for, what about the others? Maybe I am selfish, but I can truly say if you don’t know the person, you’ll feel bad their life passes, but it isn’t someone you love. Love is a big factor in life and decides many things for us. Those are my answers
